Aer Lingus Transatlantic Service update
Dublin, 20th January 2011
The US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) unit at Dublin Airport has now moved into Terminal 2 and pre-inspection facilities are no longer available for airlines in Terminal 1. Until the 22nd of February, when Aer Lingus transatlantic flights relocate to Terminal 2, there is a requirement for passengers to clear immigration upon arrival in the US.

Magic Vacations are keeping a very close eye on developments within Aer Lingus. IMPACT are currently refusing to agree to the new "GreenField" cost cutting measures agreed by over 90% of the Aer Lingus workforce and as a result numerous flights both European and transatlantic have been cancelled. The Dublin - Paris flights were affected today - however with only 1 cancellation. Flights from Cork and Shannon have currently been unaffected.
